Marathon Bus

2009 Boston Marathon
You ride a comfortable bus to/from the marathon. The bus has a TOILET. Your gear bag will be taken to Gate City's suites at the Buckminster Hotel at Kenmore Square the day before.
After the marathon you can relax, shower and eat lots of food and beverages provided at the suites. We now have TWO suites so shower congestion is a thing of the past
YOU do NOT have to worry about the logistics of the day. You only have to get your butt from Hopkinton to Copley Square. at Dan Dugan's house. now for the Gate City Striders annual trip to the Boston Marathon. Runners, volunteers and spectators are all welcome. This is THE best way to do Boston.

Go Time: |
Arrive before 6:45 AM. Bus leaves promptly at 7:00. The bus must arrive in Hopkinton by 8:00 (per BAA). Spectators will board the bus again 15 minutes after the start for the trip to Boston. |

5:30 – 6:00pm |

Price: |
$40.00 until 2/15, $45 thereafter. |

Every year the Gate City Striders give out Competition Awards in 6 different categories to the top Male and Female Striders who have had the greatest positive impact on the club during the year.
